Founded over forty years ago, Tenza began as an embossing tape manufacturer and supplier and since then has evolved into one of Europe's leading manufacturers and suppliers of products for the packaging and stationery markets.

Tenza Limited, as the company was formerly known, had originally operated across two sites, one in nearby Leiston, whilst the main facility was located in Saxmundham. Following an expansion of the Saxmundham site in 1989, the facilities were consolidated, resulting in drastic improvements to the operational efficiency around the company.

Tenza was originally a private company, until the company was acquired in 1986 as part of a London Stock Exchange Listed Company, Associated Paper Industries Plc.

Associated Paper Industries later changed its name to API Group Plc., and in January 2005, sold Tenza as part of a Management Buy In (MBI) to the Tri-Q Group, a holding company set up to acquire technology driven niche manufacturing businesses. Tri-Q's portfolio currently includes both Tenza Technologies and Advanced Coated Products.

Today, Tenza Technologies is one of the industry's most respected manufacturers, supplying a comprehensive selection of products into packaging and stationery markets worldwide.
